2014/12/0950th TPS Dojo Kaizen training for Chinese Executives

Thanks to the support of our clients and partners, we conducted the 50th TPS dojo Kaizen (improvement) training to Chinese Business Managers.

 Let us present here a part of our long-running program for Chinese companies and Japanese affiliated companies in mainland China.

 

«KAIZEN procedures»

1.Tackle from a big problem

For example, if the number of next month production requirement is increased or decreased with respect to this month ratio, first of all, the number of steps (increase and decrease) of the line must be determined depending on a production requirement number.(determination of line layout in accordance with the production requirement number)

⇒ Needs to set line to "Flexible line", that enables equipment layout and work combination to be easily modified depending on production fluctuation.

 

2. Determination of working position (R side or L side)

⇒In accordance with the layout of the determined line, fix the working position (right or left)  .
(Passage width and parts conveyer, etc. are also in consideration)

 3. Determination of work distribution (in each process step)

⇒ Decide efficient work distribution "what and which work to do" for each process.

 4. Layout determination of large parts (matching with the work allocation)
⇒ For each process, determine layout of large parts (large packing, shelves and parts board, etc.) of the work, which were determined in advance at work distribution step.

 5. Kaizen for each problem

For each process ⇒ Positioning of tool depot (placing it onto/besides working board, hanging it from ceiling,etc)

⇒Installation/expansion or position change of small parts holder box
